The aim of this study is to propose group sequential procedures which enable us to obtain higher power or stop the test at early stage. Concretely we construct repeated confidence boundaries by using a slope. This is the modification of Pocock's group sequential procedure which uses common value as repeated confidence boundaries through all stages. We compare our method with Pocock's in terms of the power of the test for a fixed sample size at each stage, the necessary sample size satisfying a specified power and the average sample number through the numerical example. Furthermore we apply our method to group sequential test for one-sided test intended to test the superiority of one treatment of two treatments.
