Neutron diffraction studies of lead zirconate titanate Pb(Zr_xTi_<1-x>)O_3(PZT)powders, 0.20 ≤ x ≤ 0.54, were carried out at 10K and 297K. The phase transition predicted by our earlier Raman observations(J.Frantti, J.Lappalainen, V.Lantto, S.Nishio and M.Kakihana : Jpn. J. Appl. Phys. 38(1999)5679)was confirmed. The importance of the A- and B-cation displacements in structural changes as a function of Zr content is discussed.
