概要

• The genus Melanomya RONDANI, 1856, is recorded for the first time from Japan. It is represented by two species : M. nana (MEIGEN, 1826) and M. petiolata sp. n. The latter is described as new and placed in the subgenus Eggisops RONDANI, 1862.
