• Sarcophaga tibialis MACQUART, 1851, is recorded from Makatea Island, Tuamotu Islands, and it is considered a senior synonym of Sarcophaga raiateai SALEM, 1945, syn. n. Five species of Sarcophagidae are recorded from Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands : Opsidia metopioides ALLEN, 1926, Argoravinia rufiventris (WIEDEMANN, 1830), A. spinosa (HALL, 1933), Notochaeta vittata LOPES, 1968, and Tricharaea canuta (WULP, 1896). All represent the first record from the Oceanian Region and all are judged to be introduced from the Neotropical Region.
