Three new species of the genus Archidispus are described and illustrated from Japan under the names of A. stenolophi, A. arakawanus and A. iriomotensis. They are known only from females and found attached to the cervical membrane between head and prothorax or intersegmental membrane between pro- and mesothorax of the ground beetles, Stenolophus quinquepustulatus (WIEDEMANN) and/or S. difficilis (HOPE). A. stenolophi is a close relative of A. fukudai KUROSA ; A. arakawanus and A. iriomotensis bear no direct relationship with any of the known congeners.
