Accurate steady-state solutions of a rotating and propagating LIB (light ion beam) are obtained using distribution functions. The effect on these solutions of the deviation from charge neutralization and current non-neutralization is considered. It is shown from the profiles of the solutions based on the distribution functions that an LIB is hollow when the protons in the beam have the same axial velocity but the same or different azimuthal velocities. A practical solution is given in the case of a beam having different axial and azimuthal velocities. This solution satisfies the stability condition shown in the paper preceding the present one.
