The effects of the substitution of Al or Cr into Sr-ferrite powder on the Curie temperature (T_C), saturation magnetization (σ_S) and coercive force (H_C) were studied for SrFe_<12-α>M_αO_<19> (M=Al, Cr; α=3, 4, 5). With increasing substitution content, both T_C and σ_S decrease, while H_C increases drastically. We obtained a high H_C of 13.0kOe for SrO・5.8Fe_<7/6>Al_<5/6>O_3.
