A method for continuous monitoring of thermal neutron flux was developed using short lived activities produced by (n,γ) reactions in a circulated liquid solution. It was tested satisfactorily for the neutron flux ranging from 10^6 to 10^8 n/cm^2/sec produced either by the electron linac of ORC or by the atomic pile of JAERI. Used solutions were Rh_2(SO_4)_3, In(NO_3)_3 and AgNO_3.
