Observation of B-H Hysteresis Loop of Yb-Orthoferrite by Faraday Rotation

B-H hysteresis loops of YbFeO_3 crystal were observed by Faraday rotation effect. They were highly dependent on the amplitude and the frequency of the applied magnetic field. The wall coercive force increased from 1.0 Oe to 20.0 Oe when the frequency was increased from 100 Hz to 2 kHz. Magnetic properties of the cylindrical domain of our YbFeO_3 specimen are also presented.
