The character of Japanese art was directed in the 13th century by the profound theories on poetics of Syunzei, Teika, Zien and Itien. They thought that man should seek in the works of poetry the authentic reality of all beings or the three truths of nothingness, phenomenon and centre through every beauty of natural world. Such thoughts were influenced by the trainings of Chih-kuan ('samatha-vipasyana) in Tendai sect. This problem gives me a suggestion for the new aesthetic explaining concerning the beauty of nature today.
