Infrared spectra of fully-acetylated pyranoses in carbon tetrachloride solution were measured precisely in CH stretching vibrational region, and absorptions were assigned tentatively by comparing with those of related compounds. β-Anomers show characteristic bands at about 2940 and 2875±5cm^<-1>. While the former band was observed only in acetates, the latter appeared in the spectra of all the β-anomers examined and was assigned to axial-C_1H stretching vibration. The bands due to the stretching vibration of tert-CH bonds of pyranose ring, except axial-C_1H, were observed at higher frequencies than 2950cm^<-1>. The configuration dependence of the position and number of the bands was discussed based on the similarity observed in hexachlorocyclohexane isomers. The band appearing in the range of 2931 to 2891cm^<-1> was assigned to CH_2 antisymmetric vibration of CCH_2O group, and the weak bands at about 3025 and 2850cm^<-1> to acetyl-CH_3 stretching vibrations.
