The writing of personality came forward through fighting against men's authority in literature. It considers and examines women themselves and imparts personality to women's writing. Therefore, it has aroused great latent talent in literary creation. Compared to the style of "no personality" before the 1990s, Chinese literature of the nineties has been called the "Personality Age". Japanese literature is always in a free competitive state; so Chinese and Japanese women's literature couldn't obtain "synchronism" until the 1990s. This has been shown from the topics of works that reflect personality in writing about common daily life, written by women authors in both countries. To analyze women's writing of "Personality Age", this article contains three themes: the mood for love of self and body language; the mood and expression of living alone; and the mood of routine and the spirit of satire. Another distinguishing feature of women's writing is their prose style. Entering 1990, with the extensive role of the media and the best-seller series, women's prose has become part of the fast-food culture and has been well received by the masses.
