Dichoglena nigripennis (RUTHE, 1831) has hitherto been known from central and northern Europe, Siberia and Sakhalin. This paper records D. nigripennis from Japan (Hokkaido), based on 2 ♀♀, and redescribes Pandivirilia sapporensis (MATSUMURA, 1916). The females of these two species are very similar to each other.
