The genus Prosthiochaeta ENDERLEIN, until now monotypic, is revised with a discussion of the subfamily position. The following four species of the genus are described : bifasciata sp. n. from South Korea, cyaneiventris ENDERLEIN and formosa sp. n. from Taiwan, and fiavihirta sp. n. from Japan. A key to these species is also provided.
