Heptamelus komiyai n. sp. from Mindanao Is., the Philippines, is described and illustrated. It is distinguished from the known species of the genus by bluish metallic coloration of the body and almost complete basal anal cell of the forewing. This is the first record of Heptamelus from the Philippines.
