• Two platygastrid species are reported from Japan. The one is Saces-palus japonicus sp. nov. The genus is new to Japan. The other, Inostemma rufipes (KIEFFER) comb. nov. is discovered from Japan for the first time. Ceratopsilus is synonymized with Inostemma.
