Two new species, Pheidole sabahna and Pheidole quinata, are described based on the material from Borneo, Java and Sumatra. These are peculiar among the Oriental and Indo-Australian Pheidole in having a distinct 5-segmented antennal club. They are distinguished from each other in the shape of head of the major, and the shape and hair density of alitrunk of the minor.
