• A lycaenid butterfly, Heliophorus yunnani D'Abrera, was rediscovered since its first capture 78 years ago in the subalpine zone of NW Yunnan, China. Both adult male and female of this species are morphologically investigated in detail. A new systematics of the genus Heliophorus Geyer is proposed. H. yunnani is included in its own group within the subgenus Kulua Zhdanko.
