Immature Stages of three Oriental Species of the Genus Rhabdochaeta de Meijere (Diptera : Tephritidae), with Brief Biological Notes

• Third instar larvae of Rhabdochaeta asteria Hendel and R. naevia Ito and puparia of R. asteria, R. naevia, and R. formosana Shiraki are described for the first time. Host plants and hymenopteran parasitoids for these three species and distribution record for R. naevia from Taiwan are newly recorded. A key to puparia of these three species is given. Morphological characters of 3 rd instar larvae and puparia of these species are compared with those of other Tephritinae. Significant differences in larval caudal segments between R. formosana and the other two species are noted.
