A Revision of the Subgenus Morphopoliana of the Genus Mythimna (Lepidoptera : Noctuidae) from Taiwan and Japan

• Three species of the subgenus Morphopoliana of the genus Mythimna are recognized from Taiwan. The holotype of Mythimna (Morphopoliana) plantei Hreblay et Yoshimatsu from Taiwan is a female and all the male paratypes designated as "M. plantei" were proved to be Mythimna (Morphopoliana) snelleni (Hreblay). The male of M. plantei is described and illustrated for the first time, and this is the first record of M. snelleni from Taiwan. One more species, Mythimna (Morphopoliana) stolida (Leech) from Taiwan and Japan, is revised.
