Bradybaena (Chosenelix) problematica (Pilsbry) (Text fig. 2) A Korean land snail, Chloritis (Chosenelix) problematica was described by Dr. H. A. Pilsbry in 1927 as a member of the family Camaenidae with doubt by reason of the presence of the regularly arranged papillae on the shell surface as in other Chloritis species and Dr. J. Thiele (1931) followed this treatment in his voluminous work "Handbuch der systematischen Weichtierkunde." According to the photograph of the genitalia of this species taken by late Mr. Masugi Hukuda, the dart sac decidedly bears an accessory sac with two mucous glands but lacks the flagellum. Therefore this does not belong to that family, but closely approaches to the genus Bradybaena of the family Bradybaenidae, except the nature of shell surface. Thus the corrected name becomes Bradybaena (Chosenelix) problematica. Bradybaena (Virginihelix) virgo (Pilsbry) (Text fig. 1) This species has been originally located in the family Camaenidae as Ganesella virgo Pilsbry 1927, but transferred later by Dr. T. Kuroda (1941) to the family Bradybaenidae from the point of view of the anatomical characters as well as the shell features which closely related to the genus Bradybaena. But he did not show any figures of the genitalia of this species. According to the figure of the genitalia of this species which has been prepared and kindly forwarded to me by Mr. Masao Azuma at my disposal, it clearly shows a member of the genus Bradybaena as stated by him. not of Satsuma which is now in use for the Japanese "Ganesella" in having a dart sac bearing an accessory sac with mucous glands, but without flagellum. For this species from the nature of shell which has elevated spire with deep suture and strongly descending aperture, a subgeneric term, Virgenihelix Kuroda et Habe 1949 has been established in the genus Bradybaena. Fruticicola (Koreanohadra) fragilis (Pilsbry) Eulota (Euhadra) fragilis described by Pilsbry 1927 from Korea has a close relationship to the subgenus Karaftohelix Pilsbry 1927 in the genus Fruticicola from the anatomical features, but differs from that subgenus in having the weak growth lines on the shell surface and the accessory sac as large as the dart sac. It is clearly differentiated from the Japanese genus Euhadra Pilsbry 1890 in lacking the flagellum on the penis. The subgeneric name Koreanohadra Kuroda et Habe 1949 under the genus Fruticicola with Eulota (Euhadra) kurodai Pilsbry as type, was established including this species and other related Korean and Manchurian Bradybaenid species. Nesiohelix samarangae Kuroda et Miyanaga Eulota orientalis Adams et Reeve was renamed by Kuroda and Miyanaga as Nesiohelix samarangae by reason of the preoccupation and was allocated in the genus Nesiohelix Kuroda et Emura 1943 from the anatomical features reported by Habe (1945).
