The present paper concerns with a class of small size, double substrate layer, double frequency printed antennas for multi-mode systems. The cell antenna is based on the penetration of one small patch accorded to the highest frequency band into another one accorded to the lowest frequency band. Arrangement of this basic cell leads to compact arrays. Examples of realization are given.
