A combination of direct sequence spread spectrum (DS-SS) communications and Slotted-ALOHA (S-ALOHA) is proposed for mobile communications. This method is different with previously proposed methods (e.g.) in that it assumes power control in the reverse link. This method is used in a very efficient spread spectrum slot reservation multiple access (SS-SRMA) technique.
