• In male Lipeurus lawrensis tropicalis, each testis is composed of two pyriform testicular follicles, fused together at their broad bases ; the vas deferens is a long fine duct and arises from the point of union of two testicular follicles ; the vesicular apparatus is a large tubular structure composed of two halves, each of which further consists of two tubes, the inner into which the vas deferens opens is the vesicula seminalis and the other is an accessory tube ; the ejaculatory duct is a large muscular structure divisible into the anterior bulbous and posterior tubular part. The female reproductive system consists of a pair of ovaries, each containing five polytrophic ovarioles ; the lateral oviducts are prominent, thick tubes bearing several protuberances on their outer wall ; the median oviduct is a conspicuous pear-shaped structure ; the vagina is an elongated spacious structure having its anterior portion invaginated into the posterior portion.
