• Various viewpoints of business process analysis for re-engineering enterprises are discussed in this paper, and a framework is presented for modeling the analysis process itself. The world is now in an age of economic systems revolution brought about by information technologies and post-mass-production systems. However, many enterprises have not kept up with the revolution. Therefore, we have been studying the technology of business process analysis for re-engineering such enterprises with information technologies. As the first step in the study, the above-mentioned viewpoints and framework are discussed on the basis of actual analysis of several enterprises. Key Words : business process analysis, business process re-engineering, modeling analysis process, formal model, conceptual model.
