The shape of embryo or fetus shows dramatic changes and its understanding will contribute to the genomic researches. To organize such morphological changes during fetal development, we are constructing a 3D image database by using a huge collection of human embryo samples at Congenital Anomaly Research Center, Kyoto University. 3D polygon data representing body surface of human embryo were generated from 3D magnetic resonance microscope images and data retrieval and browsing system was constructed. The outlines of the 3D image database and its current status are presented.
