In this letter, a new pre-fast Fourier transformation (FFT) adaptive beam forming algorithm is proposed for an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system with an array antenna. The proposed pre-FFT beamforming algorithm for OFDM system ran significantly improve BER performance and reduce complexity as the proposed algorithm requires only two processors (one FFT/IFFT). BER performance improvement and convergence behavior of the proposed approach are investigated through computer simulation by applying it to the conventional OFDM system in multipath fading channel.
