In a multitarget-multiradur tracking system, bias errors to be caused by radar alignment give great influence to tracking performance. In this paper, statistical analysis techniques with Kalman filter for estimation of three dimensional radar position, making use of a linear approximation of a difference of aricraft's positions, are presented in a multi-radar system. When some radars are arranged in wide area, the accuracy of the bias estimation deteriorates, so that horizontal planes and standard directions of N-E-U coordinates with each radars are not eauivalent, which is caused by the roundness of the earth. This paper describes the position estimation algorithm which employs the revised gradient of the N-E-U coordinates axis. This method is compared with the other method which employs altitude of the target from observed data (range and elevation) without revise in our computer simulation results. As a result, estimation accuracy is improved 3.7 m when two radars are 10 km apart, and is improved 19.5 m when two radars are 30 km apart.
