In adjacent channel interference, the bit error rate (BER) of the desired signal varies depending on interference conditions even if the interference power is the same. The paper proposes the analytical and approximate method to derive BER characteristics of desired BPSK signal in BPSK adjacent two channels' interference condition with thermal noise. The proposed method derives the BER characteristics based on probability density functions of two interference signal components derived from the impulse response of the filter for extracting interference component and the bit pattern of the interference signal. It is found from the coincidence with computer simulated results that the proposed method gives accurate BER characteristics for a vanety of interference conditions.
