In this paper, we propose two mechanisms to support easy content creation using existing content. Using these mechanisms, clients (e.g., content creators or client tools) can use content with suitable content format for them, and when material content is updated, content creators will easily know it. These methods are based on MCOM (Multimedia Content Object Model). We have shown that MCOM supports easy creation by server side scenario and dynamic editing, which are its characteristics. In this paper, we list more advanced requirements for reusing existing content and propose two mechanisms. One is a content format selection mechanism and the other is a notification mechanism, which are based on object-oriented approaches.
