複数の計測器の性能を比較する場合,入力と出力の間に単回帰モデルを想定して,回帰係数と誤差分散のそれぞれを比較することが考えられる。しかし,計測器の物理的なメカニズムが異なり,出力の単位が異なる場合は,このような比較には意味がない。そこで,出力の単位に依存せず,回帰係数と誤差分散の両方のかねあいをはかる尺度としてSN比が提案されている。このSN比の違いの検定は,統計学的には誤差に正規性を仮定すると,非心t分布の非心パラメータの検定問題に帰着する。厳密な検定は大変複雑になるので,本稿では非心t分布に分散安定化変換を適用することにより簡便な検定方式を導く。同じ問題に対してMiwaが別の検定方式を導いている。本稿では,2つ以上の計測器のSN比の一様性の検定に対して,両者の検定方式の性能を比較し,提案する検定方式は公称の値に近くて公称の値以下となる有意水準を持つこと,そして妥当な検出力を持つことを示す。
