Our attention has been drawn to the fact that the frequency-temperature characteristic of oscillator can be compensated and improved, by using 2 tuning-fork quartz CRYSTALS in parallel as a time base. As a fruit of our research and development, we have succeeded in produsing CRYSTAL oscillator showing only a small frequency deviation of ± 0.2 ppm in the temperature range of 4℃ to 36℃, with 2 tuning-fork quartz CRYSTALS produced by our own photo-lithographic technology. This oscillator is mounted on our mass-produced caliber 92 "Twin Quartz" giving high accuracy of ± 10 sec/year.
