• Recently the clocks for cars and another vehicles have become required to have not only steady work but also high accuracy. However, it is very difficult that such performances are completely satisfied under various conditions,i.e. wide range variation of a sourse voltage, temperature and exterual vibration etc. In this paper, a newly developed clock used the tuning fork is stated. The clock consists of a tuning fork oscillator, a synchronous motor, and the mechanical elements of gears, indexes, etc. On the other hand, the various conditions expected for the general use of the vehicles are in investigated and analyzed. And, the results of the several tests for the clock under the various conditions are reported, and it is shown that the clock is in a good performance for such conditions.
