Relations between stability of frequency fluctuations caused by internal friction and Q-value are described. It is known that crystal defects - points defects, surface defects, dislocations, and interractions of these phenomena - cause internal friction, and that there are marly kinds of mechanisms in internal friction, that is, relaxation type, resonance type, hysteresis type and so on. In this paper, relaxation type - standard linear solid model - is mainly discussed. If some assumptions are put about relaxation time of density fluctuations of crystal defects, power spectrum of frequency stability is so-called 1/f type. Furthermore, using the experimental results of relations between characteristics of power spectrum of frequency stability and Q-value, and on the assumption that power spectrum consists of three parts - 1/f, 1/f^2, and white-, the result that frequency stability is pro-portional to O^(-2) is obtained.
