Present study focuses on an interaction of flow instability and elastic vibration of a multiple disk system rotating with sub-critical speed. The simultaneous measurements of the flow velocity between disks and the transverse displacement of the disk reveal that the fluid-solid interactions are not negligible even in low speed range far below the flutter or critical speed.
