概要
- 論文の詳細を見る
It has been reported that focal cooling of the neocortical surface terminates seizures. The authors examine the performance of a thin focal cooling device using a peltier chip through animal studies and experiments using a phantom. The results indicate that the device can reduce the temperature of the cerebral cortex enough for seizure termination with cooling water whose temperature is 36 C.
