From the point of the basic failure mechanisms of boiler tubes, the evaluation models of boiler tube residual life are built based on the difference failure mechanisms. And the logical quantification rules that can be used to judge the causes are sum up. The computer intellectual technology was used to develop the expert system that can quickly judge the failure causes, forecast the failure locations and calculate the tube residual life.
