The generation behavior of the minute vapor bubble which arose in the liquid-solid contact surface (wetting surface) at the initial stage of the collision was photographed from the backside of the quartz heating surface. In the heating surface temperature range from 180℃ to 520℃, the effect of the heating surface temperature and the elapsed time after the collision on the number of the bubble generation was examined. With the increase in the heating surface temperature, the number of the bubble generation increases. Many bubbles were observed at the initial stage of droplet collision. The size of the dry spot, that is, attached area of the bubble increases with the increase in the heating surface temperature.
