1-202 Evaluation of Replication Process of DNA Unwinding by H-infinite Control

• Kinetic process of coupled unwinding and replication of a given pair of DNA were modeled so as to evaluate influence of noises on the replication process of DNA. The basic model has been proposed by Zimmerman (1968). We expressed the kinetics of the system in terms of the differential equations for the probability that there are k successive pairs of unbound template sites at time t, φ_k(t). The maximum value of the index k is L which is the effective region of action along the template encompassing L sites. The linear differential equations were functions of polymerization k_<pol>, effective rate for rewinding of the parent helix in the region of separated base pairs. The linear systems analysis showed that the system is stable as long as the k_<pol> is not so large. The H-infinite robust control system analysis showed that the temporal changes in the number of unbound successive pairs is significantly influenced by the weighting coefficients of the control input on the system. The present analysis will be available for evaluating the system performance of replication process of the DNA.
