In the past half century China has developed and formed her own system of heat resisting alloys for power and aero-engine industries in the temperature range from 550℃ to 1100℃. These heat resisting alloys including heat-resisting alloy steels, iron-base, nickel-iron-base and nickel-base superalloys, high temperature titanium alloys and intermetallics. Some achievements in alloy strengthening and toughening, new technologies, alloy modification and new alloy development are also discussed in this paper.
