Histaminopexic actions in serum were determined by dialysis, latex method and the inhibitory reaction of test serum against the formalinized red cell hemagglutination by histamine. The change of histaminopexic action in the guinea pig by anaphylaxis and the treatment of antiallergy drugs were also determind by the above three techniques and the following results were obtained. 1) The newly developed author's inhibitory technique with the serum against the formalinized red cell hemagglutination by histamine is superior in many respects than other methods and may be available for the determination of the histaminopexic action of serum in clinical use. 2) Components of plasmapexin were analized by electrophoresis and it was found that the component contained γ-globulin, but rather mainly composed with the other component than γ-globulin. 3) Histaminopexic action of the anti-plasmapexin serum absorbed with γ-globulin or plasmapexin decreased, but did not completely diminish. 4) Histaminopexic action was not effected by the treatment of antiallergy drugs. 5) Slight changes of histaminopexic action in the serum were observed by anaphylactic shock in guinea pigs. 6) Close relation between the histaminopexic action and the total protein in serum could not be observed.
