The cyclic deformation behaviour in TiNi shape memory alloy under thermomechanical cycling was investigated experimentally and a constitutive equation proposed to evaluate the stress-strain-temperature relationship. The theory described well the cyclic deformation properties, such as the decrease in the transformation stresses, the rise in the transformation temperatures and the variation in these phenomena with the number of cycles.
