The two-dimensional stress problems of multiply-connected domains are of great practical and theoretical importance in thermoelasticity and micropolar thermoelasticity. The present paper is devoted to a solution method for these problems and the introduction of Michell's conditions of the multiply-connected body under non-uniform temperature. For the purpose of illustration, a numerical example was used for the stress concentration problem in a square prism with a central circular hole. From our results, it may be concluded that stress concentration around a circular hole results in intermediate values between the classical theory and Mindlin's couple-stress theory.
