Threaded Fusion Cage for Lumbar Spondylolisthesis

腰椎の不安定性による慢性的な腰痛と間欠性跛行を主訴とする15名の患者に対して、TFC（threaded fusion cage）を使用して治療した。すべり症の程度はMeyerding 1で術前のJOA scoreは平均11.5であったが、治療後は23.5に改善した，術後5名は疼痛、跛行がほぼ消失、6名は日常生活に支瞭のない程度に改善、残りの4名は鎮痛剤等の投薬量が有意に減少した。TFCによる腰椎の同定は全例良好であり、TFCの破損や他のインプラントによる再固定の必要性はなかった。1例において創部の感染が生じたが，再手術は不要であった。TFCは1度のすべり症に対して有効な固定法であり、腰痛を速やかに解消することが可能であると考えられた。
