lVIotivated by Hirota and Satsunaa's results on their coupled KdV equation, two integrablecoupled nonlinear systetaas are considered. One of'tlaem is 21 coupled Ito systena. It is shownthat tlae coupled Ito system is a special C2lS6 of the (6,2)-redvrction of the txvo counponent BKPhierarchy wl?ile the other coupled system can be obtained frorau the (5,1)-redtrction of the twocormjconent BKP hierarchy. By using IN/IATHEIVIATICA, we obtain the 3- and 4-soliton soltrtionsof the coupled Ito system, In addition, starting frortu bilinear equations of the otlaer coupledsystern, a Bficklund transf'orraaation is fottnd and nonlinear strperposition f'ormulae are established,Soliton solutions and rational solutions are also derived from these results.
