Ona tlae cotatrary, in thesenescent st;tge of' latke-ecosysterns, tlae trend xvill Ice reversed. By extending and gezuer?tlizingthe argtrzaaents, an entropy principle is proposed for' the life span of' lixzing systetaas ['rotn orgarrisnaasto ecosystetaas, that is, entropy prodtrction in livitag s3zstetaas cor'nsists of arm early increasing stage,an interraaediate/trat?sitional stage and a latter decreasirug st?tge.
