The temperature dependence of the correlation length, susceptibilities and the magnetic struc-ture factor of the two-dimensional spin-l sqtrare lattice quanturn Heisenberg antiferromagnetare comptrted by the qtuanturn Nlonte Carlo loop algorithna (QIVIC). In the experirnentally rel-evant temperature reginae the theoretically predicted asyrnptotic loxv temperature behavior isfound to be not valid. The QNIC restrlts however, agree reasonably well xvith the experimentalmeastrrernents of LazNi0,j even withotrt considering anisotropies in the exchange interactions.
