We reconsider the processes of' the interference of Andreev-reflected quasiparticles with phasesat each side of' a Josephson.jtrnction. We show that a qtrasiparticle interference in a noruaaal-metalregion strongly depends on whether the Cooper pair ttrnneling across the .junction is coherentor incoherent, which is affected by the charge on the .jtrnction as well as dissipation. We alsodisctrss the connection between the interf'erence and dtrality of the phase and ntrtnber in thernesoscopic Josephson .jtrnction and find that tl'ne Andreev-reflected quasiparticle interference isclosely related to the applicability of quanttmtaa taaechanics on a tmacroscopic scale.
