A new class of magnetic fields, dedtrced froxn the extension of f'orce-f'ree fields to the cornplexdomain, is presented. The conapatibility of strch kirad of fields with the naagnetic difftrsioneqttation ['or harnaonic fields, in absence of plasnaa floxv velocity, is shown. This alloxvs to prodtrcea static Lorentz force density in a resistive plasnaa ;tnd possibly to balance pressure forces inthe rauornentum equation. An explicit exauaaple of' eqtmilibritrna soltrtion for a cylindrical plasttaacolunan with scalar pressure is presented and its connections with previotrs experimental resultsare disctrssed. 80111(B discussion is also devoted to the question of' the existence of this kind of'closed equilibria.
