We studied the ac Josephson effect. In the resistively shunted jtrnction naodel (RSJ) the phasedifference is expanded in Fourier series. The Fourier conaponents can be evaluated by solving theequations of anotion. Truncation is applied to deal with the infinite prodttcts and series of Besselfunctions. We calctrlate tlae constant-voltage steps and find that they are couaaplicate ftmnctionsof the ac power input.
